LeoArt AI for Art Festivals: Help With Your Event Page, Search Fields and Social Posts
Leo is the AI writing helper built into Brakebee. He drafts your event description, search fields and social posts from details you already entered, and nothing is saved until you approve it.
Writing about your own festival is harder than it looks. You know every detail of the show, and still the event description sits half finished, the search fields stay blank and the social posts wait until the week before. A little help with a first draft can get you moving.
Brakebee is an art marketplace and event platform where independent artists sell their work and festival promoters run their shows from one dashboard.1 LeoArt AI, or Leo for short, is the writing helper built into it. Leo drafts the writing on your event and social posts about your show, and you review every draft before it's saved.2 Here is exactly what he does today, and what's still on the way.
What Leo drafts for you
| Where | What Leo drafts | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Event, Basic Information | The short listing and the full description | Add what's special, then rate the draft to keep it or try again |
| Event, SEO | Search title, meta description and keywords | Add the searches you want, then accept the draft |
| Social Central | One post about your event, an artist on the show or the place | Review it, match the media and schedule it |
| Brakebee app | AI event guides for people walking the show | Coming soon, still in progress |
Your event description
On your event, under Basic Information, use Feed Leo to draft the short listing and the full description. Leo starts from the title, event type, venue and dates already on the form.2 You can tell him what makes your show special, who it's for and anything else he should know, such as a new location, a featured medium or a family area.2
When the draft comes back, you rate it. Four stars or more keeps the draft and fills in both fields. A lower rating lets you try again, up to six tries, without an extra charge.2
Your search title, meta description and keywords
On the SEO tab, Feed Leo drafts the search title, the meta description and the keywords for your event. He uses the same event details, plus the searches you'd like your event to be found for, such as your town's name with "art fair."2 Accepting the draft fills those fields, with the same rating and retries.2
These fields describe your public event listing to search engines. More about your listing and festival websites is in our guide to art festival websites.3
Social posts about your show
In Social Central, open Build a Post or start a campaign. As a promoter, you choose the focus: your event, an artist on the show, or the place.2 Leo writes one draft. You review it, choose the media to go with it, and schedule it.2
Brand Voice is where you set the tone you want, whether that's friendly and local or polished and gallery-like. Leo's event drafts follow that voice once it's set.2 Social Central is its own add-on.2
Coming soon: AI event guides
Brakebee is working on AI event guides, written from your event, for people walking the show. They're planned for the Brakebee app, which is coming soon, and this feature is still in progress.1 We'll update this page when they're ready.
What stays in your hands
Leo helps with three kinds of writing: your event description, your search fields and your social posts. Nothing he writes is saved or scheduled until you approve it.2 Your messages to artists, including acceptance and waitlist emails, are ones you write and send yourself, or set up as a drip. Our guide to artist communications shows how, with sample emails you can adapt.4 Your call for artists and jury are covered in artist applications and jurying.5
How Leo is paid for
Leo runs on Snacks, Brakebee's credits. You'll find them in the Snack Shop, and if a draft runs out of Snacks, the same screen offers packs so you can keep going.2 Current details are on Brakebee for promoters.
Tips for getting better drafts from Leo
- Fill in the basics first. Leo starts from your title, type, venue and dates, so complete those before you ask for a draft.
- Tell him what's special. One or two specific details, such as a juried lineup or live music, make a draft sound like your show.
- Name the searches you care about on the SEO tab, like your town plus "art festival."
- Set your Brand Voice once, so Leo's drafts sound consistent.
- Read it out loud before you accept, and fix anything that doesn't sound like you.
Does Leo publish anything on his own?
No. You review every draft, and it's only saved or scheduled after you accept it.
What if I don't like the first draft?
Rate it below four stars and Leo tries again, up to six tries, without an extra charge.
Does Leo write emails to my artists?
Leo drafts your event description, search fields and social posts. Artist emails are ones you send yourself or set up as a drip.
Can Leo match my festival's tone?
Set your Brand Voice, and Leo's event drafts follow it.
