Posting a show gives you a public listing on Brakebee. A template site is the one you set up yourself. A custom site is designed for the festival.
What you do
The listing comes with the event
Post the event and it gets a public page on Brakebee: dates, place, lineup, applications, and tickets when those are turned on. That page sits in the directory. It is the listing, not a website you design.
Start from a promoter template
Under Websites, create a site with a name and a subdomain. Event Hub and Show Directory are on the first website plan. Showcase Parallax, Festival Grid, Marketplace Focus, Dark Stage, and Heritage Press are on the next. Set colors, fonts, and a logo, then connect a domain you already own. These templates are built for events, lineups, tickets, and selling artists’ work.
Upgrade to a custom site
Custom Design is a site we design for the festival, not a template you recolor. It is $500 a year per site. The one-time design fee is quoted before the build starts. Bring a domain you own, or we can help you get one. You usually see a first draft within a week, and you approve it before it goes live. If the festival already has a site, the old addresses can be mapped to the new ones. The full offer is on the custom promoter sites page.
