Shipping Policy

At Brakebee, operated by Online Art Festival LLC DBA Brakebee ("Brakebee," "we," "us," or "our"), independent artists ship purchases from Brakebee.com ("the Site"). Shipping cost and handling time are set per product and per seller. What you see on the product page and at checkout is what you pay.

1. Shipping cost

Each product uses one of these methods. The method is shown on the product page. The amount is shown again at checkout before you pay.

  • Free shipping: You pay $0.00 shipping for that item.
  • Flat rate: You pay the dollar amount listed on the product page for that item. Checkout multiplies the flat rate by quantity.
  • Calculated at checkout: You choose a carrier service and pay the live rate for your address. We do not advertise a single estimated price for these items because the rate depends on destination, package size, and carrier.

There is no site-wide free-shipping threshold. If a product is not marked free shipping, shipping is charged as described above.

2. Handling time

Handling time is the number of business days after purchase before the artist hands the package to a carrier. Each seller sets a handling window. The product page shows the next date that seller can ship, using their current handling time and any scheduled time away.

Typical windows:

  • 1–2 business days
  • 3–5 business days
  • 5–7 business days
  • 7–14 business days
  • 14–21 business days (made to order)
  • 21–30 business days (custom or large pieces)

If a seller has not set a window, we use 3–5 business days. Transit time after the carrier scan depends on the service chosen at checkout.

3. Where we ship

Artists ship from the United States unless a product page says otherwise. Google Shopping listings are for U.S. delivery. The shipping amount in those listings is the U.S. charge: $0.00 for free shipping, the listed flat rate for flat-rate items, or a carrier rate chosen at checkout for calculated items.

If checkout accepts an address outside the United States, the charge shown at checkout for that address is the charge you pay. International buyers are responsible for duties, taxes, and import fees.

4. Carriers

Sellers typically use UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Oversized artwork may ship freight. Tracking is provided when the carrier supplies it.

5. Damaged or late shipments

If an order arrives damaged or is the wrong item, follow our Return Policy. Those orders are covered by the Brakebee Marketplace Guarantee.
