Art Storefronts Pricing: How the Cost Is Set and What to Ask
When you are pricing a website for your art, the first thing to settle is where your work will live. Most artists want it on their own domain, with a shop that can take orders. Art Storefronts is one of the companies that offers that kind of site, and "how much does Art Storefronts cost" is one of the most common questions artists search about it.
The short answer is that Art Storefronts does not list plan prices on its website. Its pricing page leads to a form for booking a call.1 This guide explains how that process works, what shapes the total cost, and which questions to ask so you can compare it fairly with other options. Everything about Art Storefronts comes from its own website, checked on October 16, 2026. We make Brakebee, so our own service is described in a clearly marked section.
For a broader look at the platform's features and whether it is legit, see our Art Storefronts review.
How Art Storefronts pricing works
The pricing page asks for your type of business, whether you have sold art before, where your work can be seen, your name, email and phone number, and your current marketing situation and budget.1 The company says a phone number is required because the first step is a call.1
That first call lasts five to ten minutes. Art Storefronts describes it as a review of your art and a check on whether the service is a good fit, and it says the representatives cannot sell you anything on that call.1 If both sides want to continue, you can schedule a longer demo, which is where the cost is discussed.1
What affects the total cost
Because the price is set in conversation, it helps to know which parts of the service can change the total. Based on what Art Storefronts publishes, these are the areas to ask about:1,2
- The plan itself. Ask for the recurring cost and whether it is billed monthly or yearly.
- Setup and onboarding. Ask whether setup is included and what a dedicated support rep helps with after signup.
- Store size. Additional store pages or a larger product count are handled by custom quote.
- Print fulfillment. You can fulfill orders yourself or use Art Storefronts fulfillment. Ask how print and shipping costs are passed on and what margin you keep.
- Marketing services. Coaching, consulting and other marketing help are part of the pitch. Ask which are included and which are add-ons.
- Custom code. The company says custom code is not covered by its technical support under the license, so outside developer help would be a separate cost.
Questions to ask on the call
Bring a written list and note each answer:
- What is the total recurring cost, and what does it include?
- Is there a setup fee, and what does setup cover?
- Are there fees on each sale or on print orders?
- How long is the commitment, and how do I cancel?
- If I leave, do I keep my domain, my images and my customer list?
- Which marketing services cost extra?
With those answers in hand, you can line up the full yearly cost against any other option.
Meet Brakebee Custom Sites
Brakebee is an online art marketplace and selling platform for working artists, with its own print lab in Phoenix. Brakebee Custom Sites is its done-for-you website service. A Brakebee team designs a private site around your brand, builds it on the Brakebee platform and puts it on your own domain. A first draft usually arrives in four to seven days, and you approve it before it goes live.3
Brakebee publishes its Custom Sites pricing on the Custom Sites pricing section. The page explains how the yearly plan and the one-time setup quote work, so you can see the cost structure before you book a call.3
What the site includes:3,4
- Your own domain. Bring a domain you already own, or get help securing one. Old site addresses can be mapped to the new ones.
- Shop and checkout at launch. Cart, checkout and your live catalog go live with the site, with orders in one order desk.
- The Brakebee marketplace and connectors. The same catalog can appear on the Brakebee marketplace and on more channels.
- Print on demand. Brakebee prints and ships canvas and aluminum metal prints from its Phoenix lab.4 Artists can also self-fulfill or use third-party fulfillment.
- Image protection, AI search setup, socials, events and articles. These come with the site.
- Wholesale. One add-on turns on a wholesale line with its own price tiers.

When you want more hands on the business
Some artists want help with more than the website. Brakebee Managed Lines is a partnership in which Brakebee runs more of the selling side for you, including marketplaces, marketing and wholesale, while you keep making the work. See what is included in Managed Lines or start with a Managed Lines partnership inquiry.
The bottom line
Art Storefronts sets its price through a call and a demo, so the real cost depends on what you discuss and which services you add.
