Wolf Hoop by Dugout Creek Designs
More about this...
Despite the old stories, wolves don't howl at the moon. They tip their heads back so the sound carries, calling scattered pack mates home or telling neighboring packs where the line is, and on a still evening that long, rising note can drift across miles of open valley. Anyone who has heard it from a cabin porch at dusk remembers the hair rising on their arms. The Wolf Hoop captures that moment: a wolf planted on a low rise, chest out, muzzle pointed skyward, with a heavy ruff, shaggy flanks and a full brush of a tail.
Shaped by hand in steel, the design uses dozens of short slits to sketch the fur, and a slim half-circle arch rises over the wolf like an open evening sky. The Hammered Black version reads crisp and finely pebbled, while Rust Patina offers a warm, mottled brown-orange. Hanging it is simple with small nails, double-sided tape, velcro, or magnets.
Center it above a sofa or headboard in a mountain cabin, over a bench in a lodge entryway, in a knotty-pine den, or beside a reading chair. It also brings a wild accent to clean, light-toned modern rooms. A memorable gift for wolf lovers, backcountry campers and anyone who listens for the wild after dark.
Care instructions
Flick away settled dust using a clean, soft cloth. Heavier buildup comes off with a lightly moistened cloth and gentle glass cleaner.
