Shipping Services Terms

These terms apply to Brakebee's pay-as-you-go shipping label service ("Shipping Services"). By purchasing or using shipping labels through Brakebee, you agree to the following:

1. Service Overview

  • Brakebee provides access to discounted carrier rates for purchasing shipping labels.
  • The service is pay-as-you-go with no monthly subscription fees.
  • Charges apply only when a label is generated and successfully purchased.

2. Payment & Billing

  • A valid payment method is required to use the Shipping Services.
  • When purchasing labels, your Brakebee balance ("Connect Balance") will be used first if available and enabled.
  • Any remaining amount will be charged to your saved payment method immediately upon label purchase.
  • Failed or declined payments may result in suspension of access to Shipping Services until resolved.

3. Rates & Carrier Policies

  • Standard or discounted carrier rates apply depending on your eligibility and carrier agreements.
  • All transit times, delivery guarantees, and service levels are determined solely by the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
  • By purchasing a label, you agree to comply with all carrier rules, restrictions, and prohibited-item guidelines.

4. Label Use, Refunds & Errors

  • Labels must be used on the exact shipment details entered (weight, dimensions, address, service level). Carriers may charge adjustments for inaccuracies.
  • Label refunds may be available only if the label is unused, subject to carrier approval.
  • Adjustments, surcharges, or penalties applied by carriers (e.g., incorrect dimensions, address corrections) may be billed to your payment method or deducted from your Brakebee balance.

5. Liability & Responsibilities

  • Brakebee is not responsible for carrier performance, lost packages, damaged shipments, or delivery delays.
  • Claims must be filed directly with the carrier unless otherwise stated by the carrier's rules.
  • You are responsible for proper packaging, accurate shipment information, and compliance with all shipping regulations.

6. Service Cancellation

  • You may disable or discontinue use of the Shipping Services at any time.
  • Cancelling service does not affect previously purchased labels or outstanding carrier charges.

7. Fraud, Abuse & Misuse

Brakebee may suspend or terminate access to Shipping Services for:

  • Fraudulent or suspicious shipping activity
  • Repeated chargebacks or payment failures
  • Abuse of label refunds or discounted rates
  • Violations of carrier rules or prohibited-item lists

Brakebee reserves the right to recover costs associated with misuse or carrier adjustments.

8. Changes to the Service

Brakebee may update pricing, terms, available carriers, or service features at any time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site and apply to future label purchases.

By using the Shipping Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Shipping Services Terms, as well as Brakebee's general Terms of Use and applicable carrier policies.
